'Dapper Duck - the company' was founded January 1st, 2004, after the Brothers Dapper spent a lifetime in preparation for this challenge. Many adventures had to be survived, many experiences had to be made and mountains of junk food had to be reduced to molehills before the wondrous story of Dapper Duck could begin to unfold. Zep Dapper is Dapper Duck's mental father. Actually, however, he was already mental before becoming a father. A middle-aged drake of aerodynamic built and impressive wingspan, Zep prepared for his career as illustrator by studying theology, before going on to evolve his career through the fields of graphic design, multimedia, entertainment and software, working freelance from early on. His professional goals include spending his day listening to music and offering short, concise and generally unfunny quips.

Xin Dapper is responsible for most of the illustrations used by Dapper Duck, even if he tries to blame them on, variously, aliens, demons or zombies. The tackily plummaged mandarina duck first reached local notoriety as a duckling, when he took up a habit to precisely caricature his teachers at school. Defending himself in expulsion hearings trained him effectively for later rhetorical feats, and he still gets occasional calls from the school psychologist. Later he graduated from a prestigious business school at the head of his class, and has been broke ever since.

The mysterious Mr. M., also variously refered to as Mr. Photoshop, Mr. Premiere or (affectionately) "hardware", does whatever he can to hold everything together. Given the fact that the other members of the team tend to think an universal serial bus jack is handy in switching wheels on autobuses, and that a file transfer protocol describes how to behave when shopping for tools, putting everthing back together also takes up lots of his agenda. He also knows how to operate a coffee machine, and how to programme some VCRs. His nest is paranoically hidden in the middle of the swamps.

Our philosophy: We want to produce software that is entertaining and fun, games that can be played at any time for any time, without demanding a lot of time studying interfaces or principles of play.
